Overview
Google File Stream provides secure access to Google Drive. This software by default does not work with any proxies that perform SSL decryption as a security measure against interception. In order to use Google File Stream with SWG while SSL Decryption is enabled, these steps must be performed.
Google Setup Guides
In order to modify Google File Stream to function with Cisco Umbrella's proxy services, registry edits are required. Please refer to this Google article for more information: Drive and Sites firewall and proxy settings. The explicit change required is to modify the Google root pem file and add your Umbrella CA (root CA or user CA) to file.
You can then point your registry key to this new file with the steps from this Google article: Advanced Drive for desktop configuration.
Once complete, a reboot is required to apply the changes.
