Overview
There is a new enhancement to the Umbrella and Secure Access products. Cloud Malware and SaaS API DLP now offer scanning capabilities for Dropbox Teams folders. This enhancement provides an even more robust data security solution.
Dropbox was already supported by Cloud Malware and DLP. However, scanning capabilities were limited to files stored in personal Dropbox folders.
In this era of widespread remote collaboration, a significant amount of sensitive organizational data is being stored and edited within Dropbox Team folders to facilitate collaboration use cases.
Enable the Enhancement
No action is required to enable the enhancement. All Umbrella or Secure Access organizations that have onboarded Dropbox to SaaS API DLP or Cloud Malware automatically benefit from this enhancement without the need for enablement or additional configuration.
Charges for the Enhancement
This enhancement is provided to all DLP customers at no extra charge.
