A partner with a Cisco.com (CCO) account attempted to download Secure Firewall Management Center Virtual (FMCv) and Secure Firewall Threat Defense Virtual (FTDv) KVM images without having an active service contract.
The partner was unable to access these downloads despite having partner CCO account credentials and needed to validate configurations for an FTD.
Cisco Secure Firewall
Partner Cisco.com (CCO) account without active service contract
Attempting to download FMCv and FTDv KVM images for evaluation purposes. Download of other images is also affected
The downloads for FMC and FTD KVM images are entitlement-controlled and require both a valid Cisco.com login and an active service contract associated with the user profile. A partner CCO account alone does not provide the necessary entitlement to access these downloads.
Cisco's software download policy requires active service contracts for accessing certain software images, including FMCv and FTDv KVM images. Partner CCO accounts provide access to partner resources and documentation but do not automatically include entitlements for downloading all software images. The entitlement system verifies both valid authentication credentials and active service contracts before allowing access to controlled software downloads.
