Issue

When attempting to enable multi-organization functionality within Cisco Security Cloud, the process fails or is blocked if the account contains specific subscription types, including Cisco Security Suites.

  • Multi-Organization Management

  • Cisco Security Suites License Type

Resolution

To successfully enable multi-organization management, verify that your account subscriptions do not include the aforementioned restricted items.

1. - Review current subscriptions: Audit your account to identify if any Cisco Security Suites, partial EA subscriptions, or add-ons are currently active.

2.- Consult account team: If you require multi-organization capabilities and currently have these restricted subscriptions, please reach out to your Cisco Account Team or Customer Success Manager. They can provide guidance on potential migration paths or alternative configurations that align with your organizational requirements.

Cause

Multi-organization environments currently do not support these subscription types:

  • Cisco Security Suites: These suites are not compatible with the multi-org framework at this time.

  • Enterprise agreement (EA) subscriptions: Specifically, EAs where not all products included in the agreement are supported by the manager organization.

  • Subscription add-ons: Any secondary add-ons attached to the primary subscription.
