Whether Splunk Synthetic Monitoring supports enabling or configuring pop-up blockers?
If there are recommended settings, browser capabilities, or workarounds to properly handle pop-ups during synthetic execution.
There is no configurable “pop-up blocker” toggle in Splunk Synthetics Monitoring.
Splunk Synthetic runs browser tests using a managed, headless Chrome environment with fixed defaults. Users cannot enable, disable, or customize browser pop-up blocking behavior at the browser capability level (for example, Chrome profile settings or experimental flags).
To explicitly allow and interact with pop-ups during test execution you may want to try:
Custom JavaScript Steps for Dynamic Handling: - Add JavaScript steps in your browser test to detect and interact with pop-ups as they occur, mimicking how a real user might close or accept them.

This DOCUMENT should also help.
- Accessing a site with a modal that appears randomly and interrupts the flow of the test. For example, a marketing modal might prompt a user to sign up for a rewards program. To circumvent this issue you can set a cookie to stop the popup modal from appearing and interfering with your test.
