Description

Logs would have the following error message:

level=error msg="the request for getting processes failed (Atlas project: <project name>)" error="GET https://cloud.mongodb.com/api/atlas/v1.0/groups/<project name>/processes?pageNum=1: 404 (request \"Not Found\") An invalid group ID <project name> was specified." Investigation

The projectID must be used and not the project name


Resolution

You can get a list of your mongodb-atlas projects and the appropriate Project ID by running the following command from a host with access to said projects:

curl -i -u "{PUBLIC-KEY}:{PRIVATE-KEY}" --digest "https://cloud.mongodb.com/api/atlas/v1.0/groups"
You will see the project ID listed, it can also be seen at the end of the href
