Description

Here is the way to subscribe to email notifications for the Splunk Enterprise Security Content Updates app.

Note: This will be applicable for all the Splunk Apps and Addons in the Splunkbase.


Resolution

The user should follow the below steps to subscribe to the specific app or addon from the Splunk base.

  • Click this link to reach the splunkbase.
  • Type "Splunk ES Content Update" in the search area.
  • Click "Splunk ES Content Update" from the dropdown. (The page will be redirected to the respective app page).
  • Click "Login" in the top right corner.
  • Type the Splunk user credential and log in successfully. 

  • Click the Bell icon to subscribe to the app for email notifications on regular updates. (Shown in the reference above).
