There is a HEC(HTTP Event Collector) destination enabled in the Edge Processor.
When trying to send the logs using Curl for testing purpose, observed the errors in the Edge Processor logs as mentioned below:
{"level":"INFO","time":"2025-01-15T13:59:47.560Z","location":"exporterhelper/retry_sender.go:118","message":"Exporting failed. Will retry the request after interval.","service":"edge-processor","hostname":"ep02-1-us-east-2.psf.cmn.cto.a.example.com","commit":"71b2c44d","version":"1.7.0","kind":"exporter","data_type":"logs","name":"splunk_hec/shared.pipelines.west_prf_hec","error":"HTTP 403 \"Forbidden\"","interval":"37.067314557s"}

NOTE : Placeholders should be replaced with appropriate values and the <hec_token> with the HEC token which has been generated from Splunk (the same token that was provided in EP’s shared settings).
To find the HEC token, navigate to, Edge Processor tenant in a web browser > Edge Processors > Shared settings > Token authentication.
Verify if the same HEC token is used in HEC destination
Validate what token is being used to send data to the Edge Processor.
Check if the certificates are available
