Description

The action rules configured in the NEAP policy were executed when the condition was met. However, the execution resulted in the following error messages.

Error Message: "Action Failed for Episode"

 


Investigation

In the internal logs (search.log), there are the following Error and Fatal logs related to this alert action execution.

Error Message: "401: Unauthorized".

Based on the error logs, it was found that the authentication token configured in this alert action had expired.

 


Resolution

To resolve this issue, the alert action credentials should be updated with the new token.

After the new credential update, the alert action was executed successfully as mentioned below.
