Description

Getting "This driver is not configured for integrated authentication" in UI while saving MSSQL Connection in Splunk DB Connect.

Investigation

1. Open Splunk DB Connect
2. Go to Configuration page > Connection
3. Create new connection or edit existing connection.
4. Configure all the parameters if you are creating a new connection
OR try to save the existing connection.

Got the below error in the UI while saving the MS-SQL connection.

This driver is not configured for integrated authentication.

Resolution

Follow below steps to solve this issue.
1. Go to Non-working connection.
2. Click on edit JDBC URL checkbox.
3. Append ";authenticationscheme=NTLM" parameter in JDBC URL.
4. Save the connection

It would redirect you to configuration page that means your connection is successfully saved.
