This article relates to the Cisco TelePresence System Codec C90, Cisco TelePresence System Codec C60, Cisco TelePresence System Codec C40 and Cisco TelePresence System EX90 products.

Q. How do I enable HTTPS on my TANDBERG Codec?

A. This answer is valid for the following products:

TANDBERG EX90

TANDBERG Codec C20

TANDBERG Codec C40

TANDBERG Codec C60

TANDBERG Codec C90

From TC2.0.0 and above the system will auto generate a self signed HTTPS certificate. This will enable you to use HTTPS without any configuration. You can still upload your own certificate by following the below steps:

You will have to upload a certificate in PEM format. This can be done using the web interface of the TANDBERG Codec:

  1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address or DNS name to connect to the TANDBERG Codec by HTTP.

  2. Select the Upload certificates tab

  3. Click Browse... and locate the certificate files (.PEM)

  4. Type in the Passphrase (optional)

  5. Click the Upload button to start the certificate installation.
