Cisco Security and Redshift Networks

How Redshift Networks and Cisco Security work together

RedShift Networks: a leader in securing Cloud based VoIP networks and provides the industry's first complete security solutions developed for Unified Communications (UC), VOIP and Video. Redshift Networks (RSN) Centralized Management System (CMS) is a comprehensive SIP monitoring system for distributed network. CMS is used to analyze and display data from multiple RSN UCTM systems in a distributed network environment for a holistic view of security threats, service disruptions, and network performance.

Product Integrations

  • Identity Services Engine: RedShift CMS subscribes to the Adaptive Network Control SessionTopic. pxGrid, based on this subscription, sends data of the devices to CMS as and when they are added to ISE. CMS checks the device IP address against its own blacklist. If the IP address matches the blacklist, CMS sends a quarantine request by creating a device policy for that device. When the blacklist expires, CMS will send a cancel policy request to ISE.
