Product Overview

The Cisco IP Camera SIP Client Application adds two-way, full-duplex audio to most Cisco Video Surveillance IP Cameras equipped with an external speaker and a microphone.

A voice-over-IP (VoIP) call to the camera can be made from devices using the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), enabling operators to communicate with people in the camera’s vicinity. The Cisco IP Camera SIP Client Application can also be used to broadcast unidirectional announcements from multiple Cisco IP cameras as an alternative to a public address system.
