So once again, hello everyone and thank you so much for joining this expert insights series session. This is the 3rd session.00:10In this specific series on Nexus dashboard, we'll do a quick recap of what was covered in the previous two sessions of the series and we'll also open up for live questions and answers. So if you have any questions at the bottom of your webinar, Webex screen, you'll see a hand raised option, a hand option.00:20So if you click on that, your hand will show up as raised for us and my colleague Ronak will help unmute you so you can ask your question live. Alternately, you may also use the chat panel to ask us questions, but if possible, do unmute yourself and ask your questions live. Before we get started.00:40Let me introduce my team here. So we have Sheikran and we are from the customer success team of the AI, which is the data center team, cloud and AI infra.01:00We work as customer success specialists. Some of you might have already been working with us. So we are here to make sure that whatever investment you have made with Cisco in the data center domain that you see full value.01:13You of your already made investments. So we're not from the sales team, we're not here to sell anything, but what you already have, how can you use it best and optimize it for your environment? So that is what we are here to do. So welcome once again to this quick recap and live Q and A session.01:32Just before we get into, the Q and A part of it or the quick recap part of it, if you could all log in to Slido, we'd like to keep this session as interactive as possible and also get some insights from you so we.01:56Know better how can we support you in your adoption journey or what kind of future sessions can we have so that we could support you best with your adoption journey? So this is to make sure that it's, you know, we hear from you and we interact with you throughout the course of the next 1 h.02:14So please either scan the QR code and log into the Slido or you could go to Slido.com and enter the code that which is Ndeis and the passcode is Q N A.02:35Please do login. Rona could also activate Slido on the Webex, so you will also get those questions prompted on your Webex screen itself, but you could also use the QR code to connect use your using your phone or perhaps from your laptop to log into Slido dot.02:50I'll pause for maybe 10 s.03:11Just to give you some time to connect to Slido.com and then we'll go ahead with the 1st question that we have for you today and again if you wanna invite somebody else to.03:15This webinar who might benefit more or who has questions on Nexus dashboard, features, use cases, please do send them a reminder.03:34Okay, before we prompt the 1st question, you could still take your time to log into Slido. I'll just do a quick recap of what did we do in the previous sessions. So we had two sessions that were part of this series last Thursday and the previous Thursday, same time.03:47The 1st one was upgrade with confidence, so we always hear from a lot of customers that you know we are using an older version of Nexus dashboard where orchestrator fabric controller, and insights were three different images and later, even though the images were unified.04:07That they were still three different services on Nexus dashboard. So how can we move from that to the latest ND four.x? The latest version is four.three, but from four.X there have been quite a lot of enhancements, features, new features and unification of the nexus dashboard service.04:28So how do we move from, let's say MSO to NDO or the orchestrator part of unified ND or what about from NDFC? We still have the legacy NDFC. How can we move that to unified ND? So what should our upgrade strategy be? What are some prereq.04:48Requested some guidelines that we can follow.05:08What are some pre upgrade checks that we could do? So we were covering that and a little bit of also what are some interesting things in ND four.X that might be of importance to your environment. So we discussed that and 2nd session was deploying where it fits. So, we have a lot of customers.05:11Who tell us, hey, is this a new license? Does do we have to get more licenses or do we have to procure new hardware for us to use Nexus dashboard? And the answer is NO, you don't need any additional licenses to use Nexus dashboard. The BCN licenses that you would have already.05:31Purchased for your Nexus switches that is sufficient for you to use Nexus dashboard and you don't have to procure any new hardware. You could install it in the virtual form factor or the cloud form factor, but you do not need to procure the Nexus dashboard hardware as such and Nexus dashboard can be used.05:51To provide telemetry capabilities for NXOS based deployments as well as for ACI based deployments. And of course, you also have management capabilities where you can push configuration of your NXOS deployments or do a brownfield import. So let's say you already have an NXOS setup, you want.06:11Do a brownfield import to ND and then manage and monitor it through ND, that is possible. Similarly for ACI, if you have a multi site environment and you want in that case you would anyways have MSO or NDO, but if you want to, you know, upgrade it to the latest to use some of the latest.06:31Features, then, you know, you could consider the virtual or the cloud form factor based on your requirements without the need for additional hardware or licenses. So that is where we stitched these two pieces together. So even for those of you who don't have Nexus dashboard today, but you have ACI based fabric.06:51Or NXOS based fabrics, please do consider Nexus dashboard. It is something that you could deploy in your virtualization environment and start using the.07:11Use cases. So now that we've given enough time for you to join the Slido, let's just check if Slido is working fine. So which sessions in the series did you attend? Session one, session two, both sessions or this is my 1st session?07:23Okay, I see one response for both sessions. If you could all tell us, is this the 1st session that you're attending? Have you attended? Okay, there's one more response that says you did attend session one, ok?07:43Anybody who has attended just session two or anybody who has this is the 1st session in the series. We'll also share a link where you can find the past recordings. So especially for those of you who say, hey, I've.08:00Attended only the 1st session, not 2nd session or vice versa. You could you know watch the past recordings. I saw a chat message saying this is the 1st session. I'm not sure if I read it fully, but.08:16So this is the 3rd session in the series. We had two sessions before and this session is going to be a 1 h session for a quick recap and live Q and A Okay I see responses on the chat. Got it, understood. Okay, so around 43 % say both sessions. For those of you who've missed one of these sessions or who have missed both.08:32The sessions, please do watch the recordings. We'll share the link on the chat shortly so you know what was happening in those previous sessions.08:52Now, with that being said, we have one more question for you. Do you have Nexus dashboard in your environment as of today? Any form factor virtual form factor or if you have physical hardware, you're already using it.09:02Let us know, ok? Many of you already have Nexus dashboard in your environment, which is good. So you could plan for an upgrade to the latest in case you have not already planned for it and then start using the latest use cases. But if not, for the 20 %.09:17Who say NO, please do watch the recordings from, you know, the previous two sessions and consider deploying Nexus dashboard at least in the virtual form factor. We will also send a survey.09:35Perhaps sometime early next week to understand, have you started your, you know, planning for maybe a virtual Nexus dashboard if you don't have a Nexus dashboard already and how we can support you in your journey. So for this 43 person who's telling NO, you don't have a Nexus dashboard. Hopefully you'll take up that survey next.09:51Speak to tell us what support do you need from us, to help you set up Nexus dashboard. Again, like I said, it's for both NXOS and ACI based network deployments. You don't need a physical hardware, you don't need additional licensing.10:10Okay, with that, let's do one level deeper of a recap of the 1st and second session, and then we'll move to the live Q and A so the 1st session was smooth sailing to ND four.x. So again, this is a refresher refresher for all of you who.10:26Said, hey, this is my 1st session. I missed the previous two sessions offer somebody who said hey I attended 2nd session, but I missed the 1st session. So this is for you. What we spoke about in the 1st session is how in ND four.X different services are unified. So initially we had.10:45MSO multi site orchestrator, which was later called as NDO.11:05We had NDFC. Earlier, it was called as DCNM and then it was called as NDFC and we had NDI, which was Nexus Dashboard insights. But initially all three of these needed three different images to be installed for you to run. Then later we unified them so you don't have to download three different images. It's just one.11:09Image, but if you log into Nexus dashboard, you will see a dropdown where you will have to select which service you want to go and look into. But now we've unified that too, so all the three services NDO, NDFC, NDI, they are now combined into one unified ND, so you just your so your upgrades are easier.11:29Even if you have, you deployed ND for NDO, once you move to four.X, you can use NDI in the same cluster. You don't need to come up with a different cluster for NDI or let's say you have NDFC and you had a cluster deployed and you're using it just for NDFC, you can upgrade it to the unified version and then use your NDI capabilities in.11:49In addition to what you already have. So you don't need different clusters for different services. You could use NDI especially along with what you already have.12:09The next thing is, planning the upgrade. So we spoke about you know in case you want to go to ND four.X, you will at least have to be in ND three.two to go to four.x. And you of course there's a software upgrade metrics so you can check the metrics to compare what is your version.12:21Testing version of ND, what is your current version of NDO and what how would you have to upgrade to four.x? But like I said, at least to three.two and then you go to four.X And of course there are persistent IP requirements and you know based on whether you're using in band or out of band.12:41Data network or management network. There are some prerequisites and guidelines around it. I'll re share the link in the chat after this bit. You could refer the guidelines as you plan for your upgrade. And the next thing we spoke spoke about is pre upgrade validation. So before any upgrade is being.13:02Done. We would like to be sure that we don't have any existing critical issues in the environment that can impact our upgrade. So we have a pre upgrade validation script. It is available on GitHub for all of you to download and use it. The GitHub recording also has a video recording to show you how to run it. You can either run it from.13:21From your epic or you can run it from, let's say, a Linux machine or WSL running on windows. So you can run the script it will tell you what are the issues that you have to address before you do the upgrade, and then it will also tell you what are some checks that you will have to do after you do the upgrade. And last thing, new capabilities. We also spoke about some of the new capabilities.13:41We got a lot of questions around live protect especially where if there if there are some that are being announced, then even before you could plan a maintenance window to reload your devices for the fix, you can temporarily.14:01Push a shield to your NXOS fabrics as of now live protect is available for NXOS fabrics, but in the future it will be extended to ACI as well. So you could temporarily push a shield to your NXOS fabrics to protect from the vulnerability on the fly without having to reload your NXOS devices. And then later.14:17In an upgrade to your patched release. So we had a lot of questions around that because now in the error of AI and you know security is a big concern and we have to make sure that we are protected at all costs. So how can we protect on the fly by deploying shields, so that is one thing we discussed.14:37Apart from that a lot of other things like MCP server that got released with Ndy four.three, you have a Nexus data broker integration. We had ACI interoperability with your VXLAN you know border gateway fabrics. We spoke about a lot of that support in terms of Nutanix.14:57AWS, what support is now available, openshift integration. So we spoke about a lot of that. I'll share the link or I think Ronika has already shared the link with you, so please go through that to understand the new capability. And the last bit in this session, we also covered some use cases in Nexus dashboard.15:17That can be used for your ACI upgrades as well. So you could do a pre check for your ACI resolve issues, upgrade ACI, and then run this post check again from Nexus dashboard. Or you also have Delta analysis to compare two different points of your ACI to understand what changed it.15:37I lose some routes or prefixes or maybe somebody added an additional BD, somebody deleted a subnet, so you could do delta analysis. So we covered some features of Nexus dashboard to support your ACI upgrade, so that was just that.15:57With that I will now pass it on to Ronak to do a quick recap of 2nd session and then we'll open up for Q and A Over to you Ronak. Thank you very much for covering the 1st half of today's webinar. Let me share my screen and I will continue with 2nd.16:13Session recap, so in 2nd session we saw how we can go virtual and beyond. In virtual and beyond, we talked about two things. 1st is the virtual nexus dashboard and.16:32The cloud nexus dashboard.16:52So we saw at 1st, how do you choose between them? Whether you want to go ahead with a virtual setup or do you want to go ahead with the cloud setup on the AWS hosted platform? It depends on your environment. If you already have some virtualization platform in your environment, you can definitely go with the virtual option.16:54Or if in case you're already using some cloud platform like AWS, you can go ahead with the cloud hosted version also. What are the differences in the virtual aspect you need to maintain everything in terms of hardware on your side. If it is hosted on AWS, the hosting part and the management part is taken care by AWS. So we talked about this.17:12Differences.17:33Once we covered all of them, we then moved on to the virtual side of things. What are the things that you need to consider before you go ahead with the deployment? You have two types of nodes, you have the data node and the app node. What are the differences between them? When do you choose one versus another? So it depends on your scale.17:34And we talked about all those. What will the topology look like? What compute will you need? How much amount of storage will you need for each kind of nodes and what are the networking aspects that you need to take care of?17:53All these we discussed in the worker side of things. Now once you have the prerequisites met, you have ensured that you have enough compute resources enough storage resources, you have taken care of the network side of things, you then start the process of deployment.18:09In deployment, you 1st need to prepare, you need to ensure that whatever you have reserved is all there and everything is documented well. Then once we start the deployment process, then we move on to the bootstrap process where all the services get enabled on Nexus dashboard.18:26Board and everything gets ready so that you can start using your Nexus dashboard.18:46Then once the deployment and everything is successful, we verify the cluster health and the service health. We ensure that we run the ACS health command, we see the ACS nodes, the cluster, all these health we see, we see the health on the dashboard as well. Once everything is.18:51There, then we get to a moment where we can start utilizing the Nexus dashboard platform. We can start onboarding our fabrics, we can start managing and monitoring them from next to dashboard. So this was the virtual side of things. Similarly, we also talked about the cloud side of things.19:11How do you plan? So all these that we talked about, the resources that will be required will also be needed when we talk about the AWS side of nexus dashboard deployment. Similarly, how do you plan your AWS resources? How do you connect a cloud platform with the devices that is there on your premises?19:27How do you have the link between them? How do you manage that hybrid link? How do you ensure that there is fabric reachability between the devices and the cloud? All these was covered. We also had a demonstration in which we showed how do you deploy the virtual Nexus dashboard, what are the prerequisites we showed it on the VMware platform.19:46And that is a step that you can follow and deploy your own virtual nexus dashboard and the main advantage of either the virtual nexus dashboard or the cloud Nexus dashboard is you do not need to get any hardware from Cisco to run these.20:07Solutions. You can run it on your solution, you can run it on your servers if it is the virtual Nexus dashboard or you can take advantage of the cloud side of things if it is the cloud Nexus dashboard. So you do not need to wait for a hardware or do not. You do not need to procure a hardware from Cisco, you can start using Nexus dashboard without a.20:25Any additional licenses.20:44With the license that you already have and with the hardware or with the resources that you already have and you do not need to procure something additional apart from that. So that was the main thing that we covered in 2nd session. But before we move on to the key takeaways, let us see.20:45What slider question we have now? Now, this is something that we would like to know that what you have done or planned since the last webinars. So we have talked about a lot of things we have talked about next four.x. We have talked about the virtual side of things.21:06The cloud side of things. Have you done anything after the session?21:25Have you ran the pre upgrade validation script? Have you started planning the upgrade to four.x? Have you already upgraded to four.X or if you are deploying the virtual nexus dashboard or if you have started evaluating the nexus dashboard, that also you can choose over here?21:29Apart from that, if you have, maybe only you were the part of your team who attended the session. So let me also open it up on the chat. Okay, now I think it should be visible to you on the left on the right hand side of your screen.21:49Through Webex as well. And if in case you are the only person who attended this sessions with us, did you share your learnings with your team and you might be coming up with a plan for the future where you would upgrade to the four.X version of nexus dashboard or maybe you will be looking into deploy.22:07Find the virtual nexus dashboard on the cloud Nexus dashboard.22:27In your environment, ok? I see quite a few people choosing a lot of different options. Some have run the pre upgrade validation script, some have started planning or scheduling the upgrade, some have already upgraded to four.X and some have shared the learning.22:30With the team. Thank you for all these responses. Do keep in these responses coming so that we understand that whether the session was easy to understand whether you are looking for something and you actually achieve those or not. That will definitely help us to understand.22:50In or it will help us to understand where you are currently and maybe cater our sessions more towards that in the future as well. Okay, thank you all for your responses. I see few of them have already upgraded to four.X and few others.23:08Have chosen the other options. Thank you. Okay, now these are the key takeaways. Now the 1st thing is you need to choose the right fit, whether you want to go ahead with the physical nexus dashboard, a virtual Nexus dashboard.23:26Or a cloud nexus dashboard that you need to decide. It will depend on your use case, it will depend on the type of environment you have on the type of use cases that you have in your environment. It will completely depend on that.23:46So once you have chosen the right form factor, then you need to match the release. Ensure that whatever environment you have in terms of the fabrics that you're monitoring, whether you're talking about Nexus NDFC based fabrics or ACI fabrics, you need to ensure that the releases are supported.24:01With each other. You need to ok form factor, we already talked about the cluster size again do check the next dashboard capacity planning tool that will help you to understand the cluster size and what are the types of node that you need to go ahead with and what should be your the scale of nexus dashboard.24:21For your use case. That tool will definitely help you to understand which size should you go ahead with. Then again, validate before you change, you need to ensure that the health of the fabric is alright. The infrastructure that you have is ready.24:39For the change, whether we are talking about upgrade or whether we are talking about deploying a new nexus dashboard, you need to ensure that your infrastructure is ready. Anything that you need to take care of, you need to address that and then you need to go ahead with the change and in case something goes wrong you, you always have the option to recover.24:57If in case you have taken the backup of it. So all these you need to ensure before you change. And once you do that, once you start using the Nexus dashboard, once you start using new version of Nexus dashboard, and you will unlock a lot of features that you were not using.25:17Without it, whether you were talking about ECF fabrics, NXOS based fabrics, we get our, we get access to telemetry, fee post upgrade validation, delta analytics traffic analytics. There are so many different features that you get access to without any licenses.25:34Any license that you have already procured will all already have nexus dashboard features included inside it. So just you need to start using Nexus dashboard whether you are getting a physical appliance or if you don't get a physical appliance, you can start using it from the virtual side of things or the cloud side of things also.25:52And once start using it ensure to keep it to the latest version so that you can enjoy the latest and greatest features that Cisco come up with. Okay, now again for the people who.26:10Have not upgraded to next to four.X What is the main thing that is holding you back from moving into four.x? Is it the infrastructure storage requirements if you're talking about the virtual side of things, the maintenance window or change approval, maybe you are willing to.26:28Go ahead with the upgrade, but you're not getting a maintenance window or change approval or it is in the progress or it is in the process and you're still waiting for it to get done. Okay, you need more hands on help and or deep dive session.26:45For this, if you need more hands on help, do let us know in the survey. After just after this session, we will be launching a survey where we will be asking if you need one on one support.27:01For any kind of queries or any kind of upgrade or any kind of help related to nexus dashboard, do put in yes in that and we will definitely reach out to you to understand your situation a little better in which we can then.27:16Make a plan and execute that and help you in a one on one engagement or a deep dive session. Okay, few others have chosen that they are waiting for the maintenance window or the change approval. You have some infrastructure or storage requirements issues.27:33Again if this is something related to you not knowing what are the requirements that are there from from the infrastructure storage side, you can always go ahead and check that in the capacity planning tool given by Cisco for next dashboard. In case you have any concerns or queries, you can always go in depth.27:50And verify what are those requirements.28:10Okay version or upgrade path complexity. Again for this also we have upgrade guides which cover which version you can upgrade from which version and if in case it requires a step upgrade, that is also covered. So just for an example, if in case.28:13If you want to move ahead to the latest version of dashboard which is four.three.28:32And you are running three.x e.g.. In that case you will have to go ahead with the step upgrade. You have to go to next dashboard 33.two.M 1st and then you can directly move to four.three.one. Similarly depending on what you're running.28:37Currently in your environment, it will depend a little bit. So do check the upgrade guides that will cover what version you can upgrade from and what version you can upgrade to. Okay, few few few people have also chosen nothing, you are ready to go ahead with the next dashboard four.x. That is great to see. Again, if you have any concerns.28:53Just after this session, you will be redirected to a survey. Do mention your concerns in terms of a more hands on help or a deep dive session. We will definitely reach out to you and get your help regarding that. Thank you all for your responses.29:13Now we will move on. This is the time for your questions where even if you have any questions that you have already put in the chat and it is not answered, we will be answering them or if in case you still have some questions that you have not already put, please put them in the chat. You.29:29Can also raise your hand so that you can ask your questions live and we can take them live as well.29:49Or else please feel free to use the chat section, put in your questions we will be covering them there. On top of that, you have also received some more questions from the previous sessions which were unanswered or we got them as part of our survey. We will be trying to cover them as well.29:55So now I will stop sharing. We can go ahead with the Q and A section of today's session. Do we have anything on the chat that is unanswered?30:13You're on mute if you are speaking. Sorry, I was just saying I think I saw a hand raised by somebody, ok. I think had a question, but he's added that on the chat.30:35Okay, I see well raised his hand. No, I don't, I think Sunil had had raised has raised a question stating that can we do a ACI image upgrade automated in Nd as of now, NO, that's that's been a future request. So for now.30:53Now in four.two and four.three, there is NO upgrade of ACI at this minute.31:13And, and and I didn't get that ACA fabric epic spine if NO none of them are available at this minute. You can do through ND, you can only verify.31:18The, the, the, the compatibility versions and stuff, that's it. And there is one question which Justir asked about the existing logs that are being collected by the insights will be there and even after the standard upgrade, you will still have the logs available on the ND for you to have it on.31:37If there is any kind of a log analysis or any traffic analytics which you wanted to perform, it'll still be available in it.31:57Okay, I see had raised his hand so I gave him the option to unmute. Suraj I think you can unmute now.32:21And you can ask your question if you have it ready. Hello, can you hear me so thanks for this. So basically I was a question so I have existing NDFC fabrics ok so now we I want to add a new fabric with the new switches, ok? So I want to know.32:29The there will be NO to open the specific codes or we have to open the.32:49If I create a new fabric that is only so I want to open a, open all ports towards the LAN fabric or I want to open a specific ports towards the adding the switches for that.32:54Yeah, there is a pre upgrade requirement for for the port opening. If you see there are certain ports that are required for ND for the ND to collect the data and for for those which we have to specify in opening it. You cannot open all the ports, maybe.33:10The security concern may rise within your organization by your infosec, right? So you can be precise in opening those ports on the ND.33:30Towards ND on your ports that was showing which port I need to read. So basically what are the three ports we need to open that to read discovery for the switches into the fabric.33:38The lots of things they have mentioned so you have to for the DSAP for the POAP and P for the correct you have to be precise with the pre upgrade, if you check the guidelines of the port, you have to be precise on about the.33:58The port opening in that. Let me share you the link. I think it's been already there.34:16So if you're not using plug and play for catalyst, then you don't need PMP. I forgot the name, sorry, was it sure yeah so it all depends on your necessity, like are you using zero touch provisioning PNP for your catalyst, this catalyst, do you want to do that through Nexus dashboard? So if not.34:23Then the PMP port is not needed.34:43Yeah, just wanted to add that. Does that answer your question actually I I got my answer.34:45Okay, thanks. Thanks. I also saw one of to Sunil's question, Sunil I'm just sharing a link with you while ACI upgrade can't be done from Ndy like Karthik mentioned. You can do some pre upgrade checks from ND for ACI, so to evaluate, you know, are there some things.35:06ACI that you should address before you can go ahead with the upgrade. So you can do that pre upgrade check and after you actually upgrade your ACI, so the upgrade bit is not possi possible from Ndy but after you upgrade ACI, you can again, you know, run that check from Ndy to make sure that you know things are fine. So that is possible.35:26But the upgrade piece in specific is not possible from ND at this point of time, but I'll also share that link with you on the chat. Go ahead Ronaka I know there are a few more questions on the chat. You can.35:46Sure, I think ok i think this one was covered. Okay, there is one question from Sushan. Can we get different types of things which is used between.36:02Slash the switches to ND the QS marking in the sense like the DSCP and the cost values you mean to me or what exactly like you are meaning me the QS markings are.36:20Like say if I say yes, we can have a different type of QoS markings in translation between your Cisco Apic and the leaf and the external networks, but just wanted to trying to understand like how exactly you mean to say if there is a layer three the the DSCP and if you have the.36:37Six bitter header which is adding to the to the to the to classify the traffic end to end. So yes, we can have that added into the epic and leave. Yes.36:57Okay, there was a bit more to this question. I think a question came in between that. So you mentioned that in delta analytics, in delta analysis only few things are available for comparison. So what is the roadmap of increasing it?37:09Yeah, that's a feature request. Yeah, I do agree. The delta analysis you do have limited in verifying it in probably in four.five that is the plan which they have from the from the BU, so maybe you can expect more analysis on that in four.five.37:27Thank you, thank you for answering that. Okay, there is one more question from the upgrade NDO from three.two.one to four.X for L three cluster connection.37:48Does NDO require BGP to communicate to external router? No plan of, NO plan to use NDI on this cluster? Just on a side note, he mentioned. If we still require BGP, how can I design the AS number for each server?38:07I think, let me take this upon I think we discussed this in one of the previous sessions as well. So if you don't need, you know, if you don't need NDI or telemetry, right? Then in that case.38:24You don't, need to allow those persistent IPs to be communicated via BGP. So for that, you could just create a dummy BGP ASN. You don't really need to have BGP configured.38:45But if you're looking for some additional information on top of this, please let me know I can take that up here I think so Shant would like on mute so anyone who would like to unmute yourself, please raise your.39:03Plans so that it becomes easier for us to make.39:22You're muted but I will unmute you, Sushank. Yeah, you can go ahead, you should be able to unmute yourself now. Hey, thank you Karthik and so my question was that we this NDA is talking to multiple.39:25Like a component like apic.39:45As well as the leaves also, ok. And also for AAA there's some traffic is there. So now this we are putting in a centralized location, ok? And we have a multiple so on what are the particular ports where it is talking and or and.39:48So what what is the QoS is marked on that because we have to maintain end to end QoS between the epic to.40:08So that we can prioritize the those traffic, Otherwise if there is any congestions or in the network now that time we are getting a false anomalies the note down and other stuffs are coming.40:19So do we have any documentation where all kind of traffic with the with the QS mapping is there? If it is there, then please share with us. Sure. I'll find that one for you and then maybe we have your email captured as well. We can send it to you on a one on one email to you or to the all the people who had been.40:31In the session, we can send them the qas marking for each and each and every traffic as well. Yes. We'll do that. Okay. And then and you confirm that it will be available on four.five.40:51Correct. Yeah, yeah. And so one more thing that data analysis is taking too much time to run. Okay, so the data analysis actual use cases would be when we are doing any planning the night. So we should run the data analysis before this and we should after the PE we should run this and then.41:03Some comparison should become immediately after this. This should be some automated process or some clicks should be there or some, some timing based we can do that because this data analysis running in every 2 h, so what happened now Wednesday I started 01:00 and the last data 12:00.41:23And I I executed any plan event and how does this happen I have to roll back at 01:30, so this is not capturing this data analysis, that's the major concern. You have a good feature but not not use useful for the planned events process.41:42Do you mean if if the outage is more than 2 h, then probably we can use this, but if the outage is less than 2 h, then there's NO use of that we have in the So we have to look into that. Can we increase the frequency or something like that?41:58Got it. Yeah, that is also in the plan. We have we have the feedback of the same with multiple customers and we have taken it to the BU and that is also in the plan of getting the delta analysis for a quite long longer time depending upon see even even even depending upon the snapshot what you guys.42:15Having your fabric even that matters actually. So this you can just write out write out this write out this question into this ask experts so that we can take this up as an additional input as well to the BU.42:36Okay ok fine. Just give me 2 min. I have two one or two more questions, let me get that, ok. I'm putting myself on mute. Sure. Thank you Sashan.42:49Okay, there are few more questions here one of the question is currently we are using a virtual nexus dashboard. We are planning to migrate to a physical Nexus dashboard, kindly share the migration guide, prerequisites and any recommended best practice for the transition.43:05Sure, the migration from and you have to build and then you have to migrate. I think maybe we can, we can share that migration plan if we.43:25Yeah, sure. We'll, we'll share you the migration plan from I think there is one.43:43Oh, we can share it after the call as well.44:01And in case we miss it, please feel free to reach out to us at ask ask for.com. I have put the mail in the chat. Any questions you have post the session today?44:16Or anything that you feel was unanswered during today's call, you can reach us out to this mailer and we will be able to guide you. Thank you. Okay, I think.44:34So Neil had a small question which was also shared link for remediation if any guideline before image upgrade for ACI and NXOS.44:50Something more like a pre upgrade check the I'll yeah, I'll share the link again. I'll share that one shortly. Sure. Okay, so one more question.45:11Also all yeah so so also that the the major folds which is still not covered in the four.one. So whatever the has the folds, the critical and major folds and the minor faults.45:29That should be part of this NDA. So when we are integrating all the faults with the NDA, the ACI falls in the NDA, when are we integrating? No, see the faults are majorly captured on NDI based on the threshold value, what is being.45:45Set on the epic towards the ND.46:05So that is the correlation which you can manually set on it and you can, you can configure the faults that has been captured on the epic towards NDA. I think probably all the faults have been categorized in the list of categories which is listed. So it should be captured, but can you just.46:08Any specific what alerts that you are being not captured on the epic from ND? Like if a one for like any configuration we have done on that policy is not present.46:28So, the foldered in the epic, but that is not reaching to the it is not visible to the NDA. So if it is revisible to the NDA, the people who now the people started monitoring only the NDA, so nobody's looking on the epic part, so then when we do the the analysis of existing folders in the NDA sorry in epics.46:40Then we found that this is these are folders are not available in the.47:00NDA but available in the epic. So if you want a few of the faults I can give you on the email that these are not available. So we want that all the faults which is coming to the apic. Should be come to the NDA and then what we will do, we'll we'll be based on the severity, we will raise this.47:04And we'll raise a trouble ticket for that so that people will can take the appropriate action on that.47:24Yeah, correct Susan, like what I would request you do, ideally as per the product, right? Like the epic and ND should sync all the faults between them. If you see any discrepancy, we would request you to raise a tag case and then you can just follow and also you can send us an email on the ask export that these are the faults that have been not captured in in in.47:30See from you can also do that. We will also work on the back end. So already we given this requirement to our sales teams to on this. So they said that on four.three some some most of the faults will come.47:50But for all the faults now, I think it will take time. Yeah, so we are using four.one. Okay, so yeah sorry yeah is there a way like can you just send those what has been what are the communications which you which which was.48:04Not happening between the epic to ND, those fault codes and that details if you could send us that would be the yeah sure sure we'll do that, we'll do that. Also you you put one interesting thing here.48:24And in discussions raising that with the tag, so taking too much time on this and now these are the P three cases we can't do anything because these are not the services cases and they take their own time. So how do like we get a fast response and why I'm asking you see like few things are not.48:35Visible.48:55In the ND and there's NO standard list is there which are covered in the ND. So always we have to go to the tag and we have to ask this is this not coming the this is not supported, this is not there. It will become and will take as announcement request and all that stuff is going on. And this is taking up ten to 15 days or 20 days task.48:56Discussion with the andy. So it's very pathetic to follow for such small small things with the tags so if we have some documentations from your side or your side that on the four.one, these are the things that are as anomalies covered, this is and also that anomalies mapped to the any particular folder if those documents available.49:17For the customer then they will easily find out this is not available NO need to go to the tag, just simply go to the your business team and ask them was this this is our main requirement and it is not fulfilled in the current version in which version it will become because for single faults.49:36Every every ten days 15 days if it is we are going to them. It will take lots of effort and we are improving the Cisco product by you by this process, but we are investing more much more time on this particular part. Got it, got it. This, this has been already highlighted to the BU.49:53And where the people are working in the back and and we'll we'll get an appropriate answer from the respective BU towards towards your Shank. Yeah. There is already a feature request which has been raised already on this. Okay.50:12Okay, yeah. Okay, thank you. There's one more question that I can see on chat from the customer is currently using Nutanix environment.50:29And we recommended deploying version four.one.1G with KVM as it is the recommended version. However, we observed that the version four.two.X is now available for Nutanix deployment. Could you confirm if we can proceed with four.two instead?50:46Yeah, that's supported. In four.two it is supported for you can proceed with the version four.two and the new Tonix deployment as well. Perfect. I think that covers all the questions that we got live.51:06Today. If any other questions you have, please feel free to put them on the chat, else we will go to some questions that we got.51:24To the last two sessions as well. Okay, let me check which all are unanswered because I see some questions here. Yeah, one more question is that this.51:43Speech change analysis so we face the we are still not able to do the system because the size of the fabric snap is more than 50 MBPS. No 50 MB. So when we are going to increase this.51:56Eliminations? You mean to say the the size of the snapshot what's been captured, it's more than 50 MB and that doesn't have that you cannot do analysis on it, right? That's. We have we have raised internal enhancement record.52:141st, probably in four.four, you can see that four.four but we are planning four.three and then again this feature is unavailable for us.52:33Exactly yes, it is it is in the future because the once again, let me get you the what is the new in four.44.three.52:45Okay, we'll confirm you on that as well. Okay so like for flow telemetry we also again facing some issues where the we enable the flow telemetry for our.53:12Entire fabric or or entire fabric. So we are not filtering anything on only out of 20 fabrics only enabled two fabrics and our ND is crashing because he's the flow is more than two legs.53:32The enhancement request has been raised on five I believe maybe I'm not exactly which version that the request has been promoted actually. We'll have an update on.53:48Yeah, because the thing is that if we want only selective monitoring of the particular traffic now then we have to put it and if other traffic is affected now that will not be captured, so we want that everything should be smoothly captured and once the issues occur for any kind of service.54:07We just go back and check that the flow telemetry analysis and then do it. And now right now the concern is that.54:26Only we have to enable selective one so that only we can monitor this because of the limitation of this. Correct the 200 200 200000 flows that have been yeah yeah we have a request across the globe from the region like even.54:33In ASEAN we have few customers who have exhausted that. They to the to the product team to enhance the flows of it.54:55So maybe in the G five upcoming node, you may see some changes into it we'll, we'll come up with the with the next update on that as well soon. Thank you, thank you. Thank you. Okay.55:05Now that we are nearly on top of the hour, I will move ahead with concluding the session. I will just share my screen once, and we have one more slider question which we will move on to.55:21Just after this. Okay, a very interesting question. How confident are you currently after all these three sessions that we have done, whether we are talking about upgrade to four.X if you're already running a version that is lower than four.X.55:36Off Nexus dashboards or if you have not deployed it and you're maybe planning to deploy it either on a virtual form factor or on a cloud form factor or even on a physical form factor, how confident are you in deploying it? This is a rating scale where you can choose between one to four.55:54Five one being not confident at all and five being very confident. So we would like to understand where you are currently in terms of confidence level.56:14And on upgrading to a nexus dashboard for.X or you're deploying Nexus dashboard on either of the form factors, ok? I see quite a few people answering most of you being at the five level. Some of you at.56:24Four, some of you at three, but it's good to see that NO one is at one or two so there is confidence in everyone on the call that is really good to see and that is definitely the objective of these sessions on which you get confident enough to know about things that are there from Cisco and you get the confidence to try it.56:40To explore it and in case you need any support, you always have our contact, you always have our mailers where you can put in your concerns, your comments and we will be more than happy to assist you. But good to see the average being four.three, so people are quite confident.57:01On this call. Thank you for all your responses. If anyone is yet to put you on your responses, please feel free to do them. I'll give maybe ten more seconds and then we will finally move on to concluding today's session. Okay.57:18So this brings us to the conclusion of this entire series and also today's session. Thank you all for being part with us with the series of mastering Nexus dashboard four.X where we covered the new features of four.X where we covered the different form factors of four.X and nexus dashboard.57:38As a whole.57:58Hopefully this series was helpful to you and just after this call, you will be redirected to a page where you will have the survey questions, which will have three or four questions that you can just take one to 2 min of your time to answer them. Do answer them, do put in your responses any concerns, any queries you have put into that survey.57:59So that we can understand what.58:19Is something that went well, what is something that can be improved upon in the future and your feedback, your comments do mean a lot to us. So do put in your comments, your feedback in that survey. With that, I would thank all of you for your time. Thank you all for joining us today. Thank you all for joining us.58:21Throughout these three part series.58:41And we hope to see you in our next series as well. We will be having more series in the future. We will be coming back soon, and we will be sharing the details of those series with you through the marketing team, through your mailers and through our community page. You can get those details from there as well.58:44Thank you all for joining. Hope you had a wonderful time joining today and we will see you in our next series. Thank you.59:04
