Well, good morning, good afternoon, good evening, everyone, Wherever you're joining us from. Thanks for taking some of your time today to join us for Cisco IQ Fundamentals, the.00:11Adding contracts and cloud connectors.00:20My name is Mike Jennings I have the privilege of being a leader here at Cisco for customer success success specialist team. Also a warm welcome to our panelists, Raj and Sachin, they're gonna be handling our Q and A panel today. Just a couple of things before we kick it off here.00:22Hopefully you saw in the lobby that invitation to join Slido. If you haven't popped into slido yet, we are gonna use that for Q and A today, so if you haven't yet, go ahead and grab a shot of that QR code. Note that the passcode is lowercase Cisco IQ, all one word.00:44And then some housekeeping items. 1st and foremost, everybody has been muted for your comfort and the comfort of others. Again, we will be using Slido, there is both a Q and A panel as well as a quick poll, if you wouldn't mind filling that out for us. The chat feature has been mostly disabled if you're having some technical troubleshoot.01:00Shooting or need technical troubleshooting assistance go ahead and use the chat. You can ping one of our panelists and they can try to help you with that.01:20If you're looking for closed captioning, you'll find that in the bottom left corner of your screen. We did disable the raise hand feature for today's session. The reactions are still live. Today's session is being recorded, transcribed and summarized. You'll get a copy of both the presentation materials as well as a recording of the presentation itself.01:26At the end of the call. And then also at the end of the call, you're gonna get presented with a short survey, so we absolutely appreciate your feedback, things that, you know, went well, things you'd like to see for future sessions, we would love to hear from you there. Okay.01:46So if you joined us last week, you know that we are in a four part session or series in September. We're in session two today talking about specifically contracts and the cloud connectors within the data connectors that we'll take a look at in pretty good detail today. Next week we're gonna dive into Cisco IQ link and the week after for our 4th session, we'll be looking at some.02:03Basically some real use cases of why you might get into Cisco IQ on a day over day basis.02:23Right registration on the QR code here on the left and we'll remind you this for the end of the call today. All right, so what we're gonna be looking at today very specifically, we're gonna go through a real quick overview if you weren't with us last week just to make sure everybody is on the same footing. We're gonna look specifically today at adding service contracts.02:28And then the four cloud connectors, intersight, Webex Catalyst SD WAN manager, Meraki, and then one of the newer features, which is an asset file upload, ok? And then we'll take a very quick preview of Cisco IQ Link and what we'll take a look at next week.02:46Alright, so if you're seeing Cisco IQ for the 1st time, I think about 35 % 40 % from last week indicated they've been logged into Cisco IQ once before, but are still looking to drive that additional value. And that's great. That's exactly why the series exists. So this is one of my favorite slides. If you've not seen Cisco IQQ.03:08Before.03:25Cause as IT managers I mean obviously it's so much more than just managing devices, managing assets, right? To really have a healthy and secure network, you need to manage a lot of other information sources as well. And I think the left side of this slide really shows that chaos in good detail. It's not just about having a list of devices, it's also having access.03:26To security guides and configuration guides, right? Best practice guides, all kinds of good things. But where Cisco IQ really shines, if you take nothing else from that easy slide, this is really it. This is this is the nuts and bolts and this is the real value proposition for Cisco IQ, and number one is landscape clarity but it's, it's so much more.03:46More than just knowing where your assets are, right? So you probably heard the outage that if, if you can't see it, you can't protect it, right? And that's really one of the 1st things that we're driving at with Cisco IQ is eliminating those blind spots. But then when we get into proactive resilience, what we're really driving at.04:06Is changing your footing from reactionary to proactive. And that's where Cisco IQ can really help you shine, can really help you spend the the the limited time that we have as IT managers every day, right? So we're gonna be looking for those root cause issues like security vulnerabilities, like configuration or misconfigurations rather.04:24We're gonna surface those for your attention before they become problems, right? And then when we talk about rapid resolution.04:44Everybody has been I'm sure a part of a sub one at one point or another. And we're not saying that we're gonna prevent that, right? It's, it's inevitable that problems will still happen. But what if I told you that we could compress the timeline? So if you ever sat through that stressful situation, right, of, of.04:51Escalation calls and pulling configuration files early morning hours, right? What Cisco IQ can really help with is the the early parts of that whole process, right? So we can help you pull those logs. So once you get the tech engineer on the phone, you hit the ground running, right? So really we're trying to take what was our.05:10Person compress it even to minutes from.05:30Problem recognition to problem resolution, right? Okay. Now, this is not a sales presentation, but I do think we need to be on a common footing when we talk about how Cisco IQ features are unlocked, and that's gonna be through the support that you already have today. So Cisco IQ as a platform is yours to use.05:33Who's free of charge, right? What it's driven by is the support that you already have on your devices today.05:52And what you're looking at here, if you haven't seen this before, this is our new simplified tier or tiers of Cisco support, ok? So things that would get you access to tack, e.g., right? So you'll find in Cisco IQ that a lot of the features, a lot of our advanced features are going to be tied to our higher tiered.05:59Support levels, right? And we'll kind of talk through some of those today. That's, that was really the focus of last week's session. But one thing I want to leave with you cause we're gonna talk a lot about contracts today, is you can absolutely mix and match, right? Your core critical devices are probably on a higher tier. Your edge devices are probably on a lower tier, and that's fine.06:16You can absolutely mix and match those and when you get into different assessments within Cisco IQ, the different assessments are driven by or unlocked by the the support levels. But I also want to point out as we get into the demo environment, I'll point this out as well, even if you don't have support.06:35You still have entitlement to some features within Cisco IQ, so things like service advisories, field notices, right? Asset management, those kinds of things, because they're really just that important, right? Even if you don't have that support on them, ok? We'll definitely get deeper into contracts here.06:51Right, and just by nature of what we're talking about today, right? When we talk about service contracts and cloud connectors and the file upload, a couple things I want to point out and I'm gonna jump back and forth between the presentation and our live demo environment.07:08But a couple of things in the demo environment. Number one, these are features that have already been added to our demo lab. Okay, so I can't really demonstrate how they, adding them again, right? We're not gonna remove them and add them again, that kind of thing. And as we go through I'll jump back into the presentation to show some different things, but what you're looking at in the demo environment here, this is actually.07:23Actually a view only view. This is not gonna be the admin view, ok? And I'll definitely call that out, but I, we wanted to do kind of least common denominator for most of your users.07:43So when they come in here, they can see what everybody gets to see. Now you as an admin will have additional features and again we'll call those out as, as we come to them. Okay, last week we talked a great deal about the interface itself. So again, if this is your 1st time in Cisco IQ, you know, maybe take a look at that video, maybe take a look, also point.07:53Around a few things at the top here.08:13As we go through, a couple of resources just for just before we really get into it. There's learning videos out there. There are some fantastic things out on YouTube that were created by some Cisco employees that walk through basically any feature that you have a question about, ok? There's, there's more than likely a video about it.08:16We got some questions last week about AI transparency. So you'll see AI is front and center with Cisco IQ now. It's really, it's really critical to what we're doing with the different assessments and for the ability for you to have a conversation with your Cisco estate, right? With your devices.08:36There were some questions about, well, what do we do with your data? Where does your data live? What language models do we use? How do we train the AI, right? All those things are answered in the AI transparency technical note, but I will say, we do not, we unequivalently do not use your data to train the AI model.08:54Right, your data is your own. We respect that. And if you'd like to read more about it, it's right there, ok? And then the last thing I want to point out here report an issue. We're gonna be doing things on the admin side today. Sometimes things go wrong, sometimes you have questions, sometimes you might see an error, that's fine, right? If you have an issue, go ahead and report the issue there.09:09We'll get a case open and we'll get that cleared up for you.09:29Okay. All right, so again, this is view only access. All right, but where we're really gonna be playing today is gonna be under the home and system and system settings. So when we come in here, you'll see that we have some cloud connectors, we have Cisco IQ link, we have some legacy connect connectors. But again, this is.09:33Is the view only view. So if you're a Cisco admin and you're in here, you're gonna see a bunch of other.09:53Options down the left hand side here. And as we go through, one of the things that I'm going to point out, like I mentioned, will be the additional features that we have on the left hand side here to add the different items, ok? Now, before we get into it, like, why do we even care? Why do we want to do this? Well, so data connectors is where we're going to.09:58Start to get our devices populated into Cisco IQ.10:18Right, so we have data connectors for everything in the cloud or cloud connectors for everything in the cloud. We have then Cisco IQ link, which again is gonna be the feature of next week's call, right? So this is how we're gonna connect devices directly standalone devices as well as catalyst center. That's probably one of the big asks that we have is where.10:21Catalyst Center on this page and catalyst center will live behind a Cisco IQ link connector, ok? What we're really not gonna get into too much is the legacy connector or collectors. They do still work, but it is time to start thinking about sunsetting those and moving to Cisco IQ Link if you haven't already.10:41Okay, so likewise on that same page, the system settings page, you'll see service contracts. This is where you'll go to add service contracts. We'll come back to this in just a moment. And then file upload is a newer feature where you can actually upload a.11:00Set of static files. This is not the preferred way to do it, but this is absolutely a way you can start to populate Cisco IQ with your devices, ok? And much more to come on that shortly. All right. And again, just before I.11:17Get into it. Q and A is open, so please post your questions over there and we'll be happy to get to those and anything that doesn't get answered, we'll get out to the Cisco community pages. All right, so adding service contracts. Now, Cisco IQ being a SaaS based or cloud based platform is undergoing a lot of.11:33Feature development deployment, right? It's a very agile deployment that we have.11:53So I'm gonna point out actually something that's changed with this. I'm gonna show you the old way in case you still encounter it but I want to show you something that's changed for the better to make things a little bit easier for you. But what we see on the screen here, these requirements are still the same. How we go about it has changed slightly, but the requirements are still the same. And I think there can be some confusion in here.11:58And for somebody that's been around Cisco contracts quite a bit. The 1st bullet right off the top, you're gonna hear me repeat this time and time again today. You have to be a Cisco IQ admin.12:18Okay, if you don't even have that feature, right? Sorry pop back and forth, but if you don't even have the option, right, if you're not a Cisco IQ admin, right, to add the contracts, ok? Number two here, Cisco cco ID and contract are associated to your CCO ID, right?12:26But you also need to have access level two. You need to be an administrator of the contract. Okay, this can be a little bit confusing because you can say, well, I already have the contract associated I can, you know, I can open a tech case, I can download software, and that's great. But somebody in your organization is the administrator of that contract.12:45And that person will need to either give you administrative access, level two access, or they are the ones that will have to add the contract on your behalf, ok? If you don't know who that is, we can absolutely look that up for you. Please reach out to your account team. They can absolutely help you with that. Okay, the customer organization on the contract obviously needs to match the customer org on your cco ID.13:02The contract status has to be active signed.13:22Over or overdue, that's fine. So anything that's expired is not gonna work that's expired or canceled. It's not gonna work. The contract has to have an end user GU. So the GU is a little bit weird, it's the global ultimate, but it's effectively just the parent company, right? So a unique parent company, if you have multiple.13:26Regions or multiple, you know, ship TOS, that kind of thing. Contract it's not partner support is cisco branded and the contract must have hardware. Now this one's a little bit interesting because there's an asterisk there. You can technically add a software only contract that does exist.13:46There's not really a whole lot of point in doing that in Cisco IQ today other than to maybe just keep track of that contract, ok? So you can add it, it's not really going to add much benefit for you because again we're using the contract to pull the devices and populate Cisco IQ.14:01Okay. Limitation here, the removal of the last linked contract requires attack case other than that you can kind of add it and remove it will. And then if you are a US government entity, you're not gonna be able to add contracts to Cisco IQ. Cisco IQ being SAS based, right? It's just a gate to prevent any, any miscommunity.14:17Applications, there is a, a virtual appliance that you can run on premises, right? The air gap deployment of Cisco IQ, that's purpose built for you. Unfortunately, we're not covering that in this series.14:37But we can absolutely direct you to information all about that, ok? Now I mentioned that there was a change that's happening, right? So it used to be, I'm gonna show you how it used to be, then I'm gonna tell you how it is.14:51Now what just in case you happen to encounter the the old way of doing it. Again, we're gonna be in system settings, we're gonna be in service contracts, and if you haven't added a contract there before, the way that we used to do it is you had to add a single contract, right? And hit add contract is as simple as that. But then when you go to add additional contracts.15:07You'd have a button at the top right, and the, and you'd get presented a list of contracts with basically checkboxes, so you can check box anything that's that you have that access level twoments, ok? So you can import in a big batch. The change.15:27That's happened is now you don't have to add this initial contract, ok? If you still happen to see this, please don't worry about it. That change may still be propagating, but you should not have to add that 1st contract. Now it's you're just gonna get the whole list of contracts that you're entitled to as, as checkboxes.15:44Okay. And then as you bring in those service contracts, those service contracts contain devices. The service contracts contain the support level and actually we can take a quick peek at what one of those look like if you've not seen inside of a service contract for viewers.16:02Again, the demo environment is for viewer only, right? Not admins. So we can come into the assets, right? Also off of your, off of your home screen. Remember we can always come up to the Cisco IQ logo at the top and come all the way back to our launchpad. So we can go into home and modules and assets or from the home screen.16:19And we can just click on the assets.16:39And in either case, we should have service contracts, and I'm just gonna grab one sort of at random here. Let's grab one of our signature contracts, ok? Nothing big and scary in here. It's basically who sold it, what's the term? What's the support tier? What's.16:41It's the support type.17:01And then assets that are associated to it, ok? And this is what Cisco IQ really cares about. So we're gonna bring in the static list. We're gonna see the support tier associated with it. We're gonna look up some other information and track things like last day of support and service advisories and field notices, all that, it's gonna be tracked by the serio.17:02Number which leads us to the product ID, right?17:22All that happens in the back end. Okay. Pretty straightforward service contracts. Now I did mention that it's going to be a static list. So just because we have that data in Cisco IQ doesn't mean that we're receiving telemetry from it. And we're gonna talk a lot about telemetry next week.17:25So whenever we talk about the, the next four of our cloud connectors, these are actual management platforms that are receiving telemetry from those devices and passing that telemetry onto Cisco IQ. There's not a static list. These are, these are live devices. And Cisco IQ does track.17:45Those live devices as well as receive and use that telemetry, much like Cisco IQ link, which we'll talk about next week, which even has further enhanced telemetry features to the point where we can actually pull configurations and we can even push code upgrades, ok? But for now let's talk about the cloud connectors, so Intersight, the 1st.18:02Okay, couple of things about intersight. We are talking about the cloud instance of intersight. Okay, so you can, you can add add multiples. This is not a a preview call. We're not really allowed to talk about roadmap on this call. I will say that on premises.18:23Intersight is under consideration. I don't have a release or any release information about that, but the question has been asked and there is development in the process, but unfortunately I can't say more than that on our call today, but please reach out to your account team if you have questions about that. They have a little bit more.18:42Lee way to have those conversations, ok? So, again, connecting intersight. You do need to be a Cisco IQ admin, like I mentioned for all these. Your Cisco IQ account email has to be entitled to the Intersight accounts that you want to add, right?19:00And then we're only doing US regions. Okay, email and APJC, I believe are road mapped. I don't have a date for that and then removal of the last inter site entity requires a TAC case. And also note that statically assigned inter site admins only are supported.19:15For adding Intersight. As far as adding Intersight, very straightforward, ok? If you have an inter site instance already or instances, you can add multiple, of course. If you don't have any already, you'll have a little connects button. If you do have some already, you'll have the gear icon, ok? The gear icon I'll show you in just a moment just pops out a little.19:34Little list of inter site instances have been connected. So you're gonna connect into it, it's gonna show you anything that you're entitled to add.19:54And then you can go ahead and add it from there, ok? And then again, back in the demo environment, let's take a quick peek at that and these are all gonna be basically the same. I'll just show you the 1st one for inter site here. So we already have five instances added so we can hit the gear icon.20:02Again, this is as a viewer. I can see the instances in here. Now you as an admin will have additional abilities to add and remove. Okay, but the viewers can at least see which instances are part of that. And then I'll show you at the end of the presentation how we can actually filter based on.20:18Devices that are coming in by different connectors and collectors. All right, back to the slides. Pretty straightforward, right? So that's intersight. Webex.20:35Is up next. So if you're already a Webex user and when we say Webex, then control hub, right? If you want to bring your control hub instance to bear with Cisco IQ, we're gonna use this integration piece. Now, a couple of things here, there was a very, very recent change as of potentially last week or early this.20:50This week.21:10I'm going to mention it because it is a committed change, but I'm gonna show you the old way and then I'm gonna talk about the new way. The new way again is just removing one step, right? Making life easier for you, ok? But generally speaking, the requirements are still gonna be the same. You still need to be Cisco IQ admin. You need to be an admin of the Webex org that you're adding.21:11Okay? And then you're gonna have to retrieve both the Cisco IQ account name as well as the Webex organization ID, ok? You're gonna get a copy of this presentation after our call today, ok? So NO need to take mad notes, NO need to grab a bunch of screenshots, you'll have this for you. This is also very well documented in the Getting started.21:31Guide for Cisco IQ, right? But once you have those two pieces of information, then you can go and add your Webex organization to Cisco IQ. And then just one note, of course, just like with previous, if you're removing the last one, you do need to have a TAC case for that.21:51Okay, so much like with intersight, if you don't have a Webex instance already connected, again, you can't have multiple. You'll have the connect option. If you do have them there, you'll have the little gear icon. Okay, so when you go to connect it, it's gonna ask you for your, your organization.22:09Now, what I mentioned the change that's happening, it used to be, and I mean like very recently, used to be that whenever you go to add a control hub instance, you would get prompted with this screen in the background here. So signifying that you have to open a support case.22:28Right, and you go to open a support case and it pops up a special kind of support case specifically for Cisco IQ, and that's where you would have to enter both your IQ account name as well as your Webex org ID. Okay, the big change that I'm I keep referring to is this.22:46Should NO longer be required, ok? Whether that change is propagated out completely yet, I don't know. If you're watching this recording in a month, that changes most certainly happened, ok? But if you're prompted to open a tag case or open a Cisco IQ support case rather.23:02You're just basically gonna say in here that you have IQ account name X and Webex organization Y, and as long as you are admin on both, should not be a problem at all. We'll get that added in for you, ok? I didn't mention with intersight, but also with Webex as far as how long it takes, I would say plan on 20.23:204 h it usually goes much much faster than that.23:40To actually see devices starting to populate. Meraki is another change we'll talk about in a minute, so that same effect, ok? If you don't start to see devices within 24 h, you might want to consider opening a support case and we can help you through that. All right.23:43Rolling right along, ok? Catalyst SD WAN. Let's talk about that. You may have, you may remember this called vmanage before. So connecting Catalyst SD WAN manager, again, gotta be a Cisco IQ admin. Cisco IQ account has to be an administrator associated with SD WAN manager instances. Again, plural, you.24:01Can add multiple.24:20Data collection needs to be enabled, and we need to be running twenty.six or later, ok? Pretty straightforward beyond that. So Cisco IT retrieves the list of eligible entities via API, and then again as with the other, the other cloud connectors, if you're removing the last one, you're gonna need to open a tech case for that.24:22Okay. Very similar process. If one doesn't exist already, we can connect it. If it, if they do exist already as a viewer, you can click the icon the gear icon and see what's in there or as an admin you can manage those actual connections.24:41All right. All right. Meraki is slightly different, ok? Not terribly so, but slightly different, ok? So again, you need to be a Cisco IQ admin. For Meraki though, we're actually gonna use an API key. So you're gonna need to go into your Meraki dashboard and.25:01Grab an API key and this basically.25:21And you can see the link here, right? I'm not gonna show you the meraki side of it, but generate a new key, and this really signifies that yes, you have access to that instance and you're able to add it to Cisco IQ, ok? Once, and I'll mention this in a moment, but once the API key has been used and the connection's been made, it's not, it's NO longer used it beyond that, ok?25:23But the API key does have full admin access to Meraki org that you want to onboard. Again, that's just the permissions thing so you can prove that yes, in fact you do have access, complete administrative access.25:44To that instance, ok? So again, much like with the the manager, Cisco IQ is gonna fetch the list of orgs that are in this case are visible to the key in the case of SD WAN manager and in orgs that are available to.25:55Our instances that are available to your user ID, right? This one's looking specifically at the key, right? API key is not used, not stored. If the key is invalid, you'll need to generate a new one, right? And again, this one can be slightly more complicated, so if you do have questions or issues, you know, again, I'll point you back to the the question mark at the.26:11Very top right as far as reporting an issue and getting support.26:31That you need to get those added, right? But same thing applies if you're removing the last one, we'll need a tech case for that, ok? And that's really about all there is to Meraki, just like the other three, if not exists, we'll hit connect. If they do exist and you want to see what they are, you can hit the gear or if you're not.26:35Admin the gear right to do any changes they like there. Okay, and then when you do go to add it, it's gonna ask you for the API key. So remember you need to have that handy. All right.26:55We're just moving right along here. So let's talk about the file upload, and in the system it's just called file upload, not asset file upload. But that's what we're effectively doing here is adding inventory via a static CSV file, ok? So again, I don't have.27:14That to show you in the Cisco IQ demo space, but you will see again, we're under system settings, and it's gonna be the same area for the admin, but the admin will have additional features here, right? So one of those will be the file upload. And when you get into the file upload, a few things you need to keep in mind. Again, you have to be an admin. The.27:34This says the initial contract has already been added to the account. That is still the case, ok, but remember the the contract adding process has changed slightly, so you can read that as initial contracts plural, same difference, but we do need to have contracts in a contract or contracts in the account.27:53Before we could do this, the file is basically just a single column for serial number, ok? There are plans, this isn't really a roadmap discussion, but there are plans to expand that in the future to include things like location. I think the the ask from the field was more of like a bulk management of some of those tags to be able to do it that way so.28:08I don't have any committed features that I can share with you today, but that's kind of I think where development is is going with this. So, also note that Cisco IQ supported products are accepted. Unsupported products are rejected. If you're curious what that means, again, if we go back to.28:29The question mark, we can go down to the supported product list, ok? So just because it says Cisco doesn't mean that it's necessarily supported yet. Okay, we're still working to bring a number of products in, ok?28:47Alright, so in the notes you see here some other data is accepted, but not currently used. So certainly feel free if you like. Serial numbers validated against your Cisco account scope and unverified serials, meaning serial numbers that don't belong to your account or your, your company obviously won't be added to your account.29:05Each upload replaces the previous one entirely, so it's only a single upload. So just keep that in mind, and then uploaded assets will show up under your inventory just like anything else, ok? But just like with service contracts, this is a static list. This is not a list that is going to be sending telemetry. This is a list just for tracking. So you'll still get security.29:26Advisories field notices, asset tracking, asset tags, all that good stuff.29:46But you're not gonna be seeing any of the advanced features that require telemetry, right? Now, another question that gets asked sometimes, well, what if I deploy and we'll talk about this next week, but when you deploy Cisco IQ link and devices that are discovered there or devices that are discovered via cloud connectors.29:50What happens whenever there's overlap, and there's absolutely, programming within the system that deduplicates any, anything, any of that data. And we're going to always prefer sources that have telemetry over static sources, ok? So don't worry about multiple devices showing up.30:06Okay. If you do happen to see something like that, that's not the norm, so, you know, please feel free to open a case on that and we'll get that squared away with you. Okay, so then what does this look like in practice? So again, on the left hand side, you'll see file upload. It's gonna bring up this little pop out window.30:24I would highly recommend I mean it's just serial numbers, right? But as this, it grows and evolves, you might want to download the template just so you can see exactly the CSV headers that we're gonna be looking for there, right? Add your data, save that, drop it in and upload.30:41Okay, very straightforward for that ok. So let's pop back over here and we're gonna take a look at a couple of things just before we kind of wrap things up.30:57For today. Today's of course a shorter session. Cisco IQ link didn't really fit in in 30 min here, so we're gonna probably wrap today early. But if we go in and look at, we're gonna go back into the assets tab and I think I I just realized I didn't tell you about the Meraki change.31:16That happened.31:35The big thing with Meraki is the how how fast it it populates. So Meraki used to be a solid 24 h before you saw assets showing up within Cisco IQ, that's down to about an hour now. So, I'd still plan on everything that you're adding that we're talking about here today, plan on 2020 4 h, but if it should be.31:37A lot faster than that.31:56But as we get into the inventory, where again, we're gonna go to assets and inventory to find all of our devices. Just a quick filter that I'd like to share with you here. So, obviously, you know, we talked in great deal about all the different features in Cisco IQ last week, so we're not gonna go into the whole.31:59A lot of detail here, but you know most screens that you come across of course are gonna have AI insights. Anytime you see AI insights, you always have, you know, the, the AI analysis that you can run that turns into a report that you can customize either yourself or via AI, right? So that's all very familiar. What I want to show you in the filters.32:17As we look here, there are a couple of filters that as you add things, as you add these connectors, you probably want to take a quick peek at this guy, the data sources. And I know that maybe a little bit hard to read on your screen, but all the different connectors and collectors that we have.32:37We're able to sort on that or filter on that. So Cisco IQ link again we'll talk about next week, right? Those are connected directly devices and those that's anything that's behind a Cisco Catalyst Center instance. But things like we we added today, specifically like here's intersight. We'll just gonna check a few of these at random.32:56Right, so some devices, some UCS two twenties we brought in for inter sites. We have a couple of inter site instances here, right? Meraki dashboard, right? See some familiar product IDs over here. So these are all things we brought in.33:15Via that. Now these are telemetry, right? Since these are coming in via a management platform, it's it's sending us telemetry. So we'll show that in a second here. Okay, so that's our meraki. If we look at control hub, we're talking about things like room kits and phones and codecs.33:31Right, things that you'd expect to see in there. And then catalyst SD WAN manager. Okay, just like we'd expect to see there. All right. Now one thing I want to show real quick is when we talk about contracts, one thing that's actually not in.33:49Here is the file upload that got removed from the lab environments recently. I'm not quite sure why, but if we look at something that's brought in via Cisco Commerce by contract, right? So again, I mentioned that when you bring something in either file upload or by contract, by service contract, we're not getting that telemetry, we're not set up for telemetry.34:09Because there's NO way for that end device to talk directly to Cisco IQ. So if we took that data source and left that at Cisco Commerce or actually let me do it the other way. Let me show telemetry status of connected, ok, meaning we're receiving active telemetry from these devices.34:29And then if we look at something like Intersight, of course, we'll expect to see data here. But then if we go back and look at a static list like Cisco commerce, which had devices in there, right, we're not gonna see that. Now I keep harping on telemetry because that's what really unlocks a lot of our advanced features, ok?34:47Again that's gonna be one of the foundational pieces that we'll talk in great deal about next week. Okay. So again, just to close the loop here, so system settings, so you can see that we have all of our cloud connectors connected. Multiple instances are possible, of course, right?35:07And again, next week, Cisco IQ Link as well as legacy connectors. Now, if you've not heard of Cisco IQ Link, just before we kind of wrap things up for today, I want to just talk about that for just a moment so you can see if this is gonna be beneficial for you next week.35:26Hopefully you'll see that it is. Hopefully you'll see that we still need to add more devices to Cisco IQ and this is gonna be how we do it. And the telemetry that we receive specifically from Cisco IQ Link are gonna unlock some additional features and capabilities that I'm sure you'll find beneficial. But when you talk about Cisco IQ Link, much like CSPC and CX A.35:42You've probably used in the past. This is something that lives on your network behind your firewall that's gonna collect that telemetry and it's gonna be the one point that makes the connection from your premises back to the Cisco IQ cloud.36:02Right. I don't want to confuse this with a different deployment models of Cisco IQ because there is a virtual machine version of Cisco IQ itself that also uses Cisco IQ link. We'll talk about that again next week to kind of make sure that we have a firm delineation in understanding about what each are.36:15But when you're talking about, again, direct access devices, getting telemetry from that, it's the only way we can get that information off of your network and into Cisco IQ, ok? And then much like Catalyst Center as well. So certainly a benefit to using Catalyst Center as a collection point and then pointing that to Cisco IQ to get that telemetry delivered.36:34To Cisco IQ. All right, so that's gonna be next week. Okay, so just as we wrap things up here, let's talk about some resources and next steps. So I know today was a shorter session, definitely plan on next week being a bit of a longer session because we will go and start to finish not in.36:53The Actual deployment, but we'll definitely look through all the different bits and pieces and there's a lot to understand about sizing your virtual machine, different, different hypervisors.37:13As well as the whole setup process as well. And then we'll get into the telemetry and different assessments that are that are opened up with that telemetry. Okay, so that'll be next week. And then session four Cisco IQ and action will be a little bit more of an informal session where we're gonna go through a number of actual use cases.37:22Where jumping into Cisco IQ is gonna save you real time, ok? So if you haven't registered for those sessions yet, please use the QR code on the left there and we'd love to see you there. Some Cisco IQ resources I showed you in the the actual Cisco IQ interface, right? We have the question mark that points to a lot of these same resources.37:41I'd say the most important one on this screen if you don't know where to start, it's the one on the top left, it's kind of a resource of different resources. So if you're not quite sure what you're looking for, that's a good place to start.38:01All right, and then after the call today, we're gonna present you with a quick survey, like I mentioned at the top, would love to hear your feedback. We'd love to hear what went well, what you'd like to see in future sessions, and we take that feedback very seriously. So, but once you submit that survey, you're gonna be redirected to a Cisco community page and it's a Cisco community specifically the ask.38:14Me anything for Cisco IQ. So if you have questions after the call, if you're reviewing videos after if you're not, if you're not with us live here.38:34Today you can ask questions in there through 30 September and Cisco experts will be there to help answer questions. You're also gonna see the today's recording as well as today's presentation posted there within about 24 to 48 business hours.38:42We should have those our business days, you should have those posted there, ok? One other thing while you're in the Cisco community page I do want to point out we do have our other expert insight series and global webinars. So while you're there, if you go to webinars and events and view all webinars and events, and I like to use the calendar.38:57So you'll see a lot of other options out there for all of our different architectures, right? Spanning most global time zones. Content is refreshed quarterly out there, everything's completely free, right? The sessions range anywhere from 45 to 90 min, sometimes a little bit more. Registration is required for those sessions, but feel free to consider.39:18Using that as much as you like.39:38All right. So with that, I'd like to thank you for spending part of your day with us. Before you go, please do take a minute to fill out that survey. We definitely appreciate the feedback. And then again, once you've completed that survey, you'll get redirected to the Cisco community ask me anything page for Cisco IQ, so.39:42Alright, so with that, thanks again. Enjoy the day and we'll see you on a future session.39:59
