Transcript

Welcome to our presentation on Cisco Secure Access and its notification pages. Today, we will explore how these features enhance network security by providing feedback to end users.00:04Our goal is to understand how notification pages work within Cisco Secure Access. Let's begin by reviewing today's agenda. 1st, we will provide an overview of notification pages detailing their role and importance within Cisco Secure Access. Then we will proceed to a demonstration to illustrate how to configure them.00:15Security profiles within Cisco Secure Access play a crucial role by managing how users interact with internet destinations. When access attempts are blocked or need cautions, notification pages are displayed based on predefined security profiles. These pages offer feedback to users, ensuring clarity in network access situations.00:36Simplicity and optimization are key features where you can create custom notification sets, including block and warning pages tailored with your organization's branding and messaging. Notification pages in Cisco secure access come in two main types, block and warn.00:55The lock pages appear when access to a destination is prohibited under a specific rule. Instead of a browser error, users see a customized notification. Warned pages alert users about destinations flagged by security protocols requiring users to confirm their actions before proceeding.01:11Access via warn pages is temporarily granted after which the process must be repeated as per the settings. Now we'll move into a demonstration. To configure the block page, go to secure settings, notification pages.01:27Click add or edit an existing notification page set. You have the ability to customize how blocked requests are handled. You can customize page name, allow user contact, upload logo, write messages, use variables, and differentiate block reasons.01:45You can preview block or warn page to confirm it's correct, then you can save the changes. Finally, link custom notification pages to a security profile and assign profiles to your access rules. Remember, installing the Secure Access root certificate on end user devices is essential for displaying these notification pages.02:02Properly. This step ensures consistent display and functionality across devices.02:22Thank you for watching this video.02:27
