Let's look at some additional new capabilities in the assessments module. From the homepage, we select assessments, which takes us to the assessments overview page.00:09Next, we'll select certificates bringing us to the certificates assessment. Introduced in the July release, Certificates assessment focuses on X.five oh nine certificate expiration. This feature supports IOS XE and ASA devices, providing visibility into the certificate.00:19Tickets used for TLS and secure web communications.00:38To utilize this functionality, devices must be onboarded via Cisco IQ Link, which allows the platform to pull the necessary configuration data. While support is currently limited to these platforms, we plan to expand coverage to additional software types and modalities in the future.00:42Scrolling down, we see that the assessment provides a results table that classifies certificates based on the time remaining until expiration. This proactive classification allows you to identify and prioritize renewals before certificates become invalid, helping to prevent service outages caused by failed TLS handshake.01:00By staying ahead of these deadlines, you can maintain seamless, secure connectivity, and avoid the operational disruptions that occur when certificates expire unexpectedly within your managed network environment. Let's select certificate expired to see the already expired certificates.01:21As noted, these are certificates whose validity period has already ended. They are NO longer trusted and require urgent remediation. From here, you can drill down into specific certificate entries to view comprehensive details, including the common name, issuing authority, and exact expiration date.01:39The tool also displays the signature algorithm and public key type, giving you full visibility into the certificates configuration. Seeing these technical details alongside their expiration status enables you to quickly audit your environment and gather the necessary information to coordinate timely renewals with your security or IT.01:59Three teams.02:19We click on the certificates link to return to the certificates assessment page. Ultimately, these assessments transform how you manage your security posture by shifting from reactive to proactive monitoring. By identifying expired or soon to expire certificates, you ensure that your devices maintain secure, reliable.02:21Communication paths. This visibility is essential for operational stability, allowing you to address potential security risks and communication failures before they impact your business operations, ensuring a more resilient and compliant infrastructure. Thanks for watching.02:41
