Let's take a look at some of the new capabilities we've introduced into the assets module. From the homepage, navigate your cursor to the menu on the left.00:08Click on home to expand that sub menu and then click on assets. Alternatively, you can scroll down on the home screen until you see the assets box, which you can click on directly. Once you are on the assets home page, you can easily see which assets are currently in your inventory by clicking on the.00:17Inventory box near the upper middle of the screen.00:37While our algorithms classify device roles and AI models suggest their importance, they aren't always perfect. With the July 2026 release, you can now manually override these attributes. Now that you're on the inventory list, you can multi select your assets, then over on the right side of the table, click edit.00:40Assets.01:00To adjust the role or importance, click update to save your changes and refresh the inventory view. Best of all, these manual overrides persist even when we pull the next batch of telemetry. We encourage you to review your asset inventory.01:01And correct any misaligned role and importance values.01:21This is crucial because a growing number of Cisco IQ features rely on these attributes for device prioritization. Keeping this data accurate helps you effectively manage and prioritize optimization efforts across your entire estate. Thanks for watching.01:25
