Transcript

Once you've got your users onboarded into Cisco IQ or at least some of your administrators, you're gonna want to go ahead and set up your contracts. By adding your contracts in, it's gonna enable a couple things. We do a lookup into Cisco Commerce workplace or CCW, and we use the contract information to pull down your order information where we can get some cells, we can get like.00:04Serial numbers of devices and then the install sites and things like that and go populate some of that stuff before we get that information from the controllers and sort of some of those other things that we'll cover in a second.00:24The other thing that service contracts is, is beneficial for is it gives you the ability to open TAC cases inside of Cisco IQ. When you request opening up a TAC case, it's gonna look at the serial number of that device. It's gonna make sure that the serial number is enrolled under an active support contract to be able to go and open that TAC case. So if you don't have the relevant contract that that device is covered under in this contracts field, you're not going to be able to.00:34Open that case through the AI assistant or through the support app directly. Adding a contract is very easy, I just go and I click add contracts. It's gonna ask me for my contract number and I'm gonna go put it in. When you're adding contracts, it's only gonna let you add contracts that are associated to your specific CCO account. If you see an error message and you click add contracts that NO contracts are associated to your account or doesn't let you add a specific.00:54The contract, please make sure through your contract administrator that you have that contract associated to your specific CCO account. Another thing that some people run into is.01:14If they are, for instance, a US government customer, we do not allow the adding of government contracts through this portal and you will have to open a tax support case if you have government support contracts associated to your account that you're trying to onboard into Cisco IQ.01:22
