Details
By definition, the value for FailSeqNum is an unsigned integer (meaning a positive integer) used to track multiple scheduling failure attempts for the same meeting.
Here is an example of what can happen to the value of this parameter and its meaning.
-
The FailSeqNum parameter can be a three- or four-digit number.
FailSeqNum represents the total number of failed meeting scheduling attempts on the Cisco MeetingPlace server. It is not known if this number is ever reset, so it is incorrect to say that this is the total number of meeting scheduling failure attempts for the time frame specified in the report.
-
The same FailSeqNum number can appear multiple times in the log.
In the example report below, there is a sequence where the FailSeqNum value of 1240 is repeated three times. This means the user tried more than once to schedule the same meeting (ID 34354) and the attempt failed. This user may have stayed in the same scheduling session and clicked the schedule button multiple times.
-
FailSeqNum numbers are not sorted in ascending order down the column.
This log file is sorted by the scheduled meeting start time.
-
This list explains how to determine the total number of failed scheduling attempts for a specific period of time.
-
Sort this file by the SchedulingTime column.
-
Count the total lines of rows in this table for a specified time period.
-
After that, subtract the total number of duplicates in the FailSeqNum column.
