This document explains how to uninstall Cisco WAN Manager from your system.

Uninstall Procedures

Uninstall Cisco WAN Manager 10.5 on Solaris 2.7

Follow these steps:

  1. Stop the core of Cisco WAN Manager.

    As root user, type these commands:

    cd /usr/users
    rm -fR svplus inform* corba
    
    
  2. Remove the users svplus and informix from the files /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, and /etc/group.

Uninstall Cisco WAN Manager 10.5 on Solaris 2.7

Follow these steps:

  1. Stop the core of Cisco WAN Manager.

    As root user, type these commands:

    cd /usr/users
    rm -rf corba informix* svplus
    
    
  2. Type these commands in order to uninstall CiscoView:

    cd /opt/CSCOpx/bin
    uninstall.sh
    
  3. In order to uninstall the Java plugin, go to the directory where the plug-in can be found and type:

    ./pam.sh (... and select option 2) 
  4. Type pkgrm NSCPcom in order to uninstall Netscape.

  5. Remove the users svplus and informix from the files /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, and /etc/group.
