Product and Feature Support |
Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(11)JX supports these platforms:
Feature Description: This feature simplifies the deployment of LWAPP access points in remote locations by adding a new set of CLIs to the recovery IOS image. The static IP address, netmask, default gateway, and primary controller IP address can now be configured on the access point. The configuration of the primary controller IP address helps the access point discover and register a specific controller over the WAN links. In a deployment scenario where a DHCP server is not available in remote locations, the CLIs can be used to configure the static IP address and the initial LWAPP controller information. Note: The features delivered with this XED release will be immediately incorporated into Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(11)JA and subsequent Cisco IOS Software 12.3JA1 releases. |
