Description of the Release

Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.3(7)JX is an ED release (XED) based upon the Cisco IOS Software 12.3(7)JA maintenance release. This release introduces IOS support for Light Weight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP) architecture on Aironet Wireless LAN Access Points.

Any early deployment (ED) release of software should be used in a test network before you deploy it in a production network.

12.3(7)JX - This release will be fully integrated in Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(11)JA. The maintenance rebuild release is planned in three months after an initial release.
