Description of the Release |
Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.3(11)YF is an ED release (XED) of the Packet Data Serving Node (PDSN) R2.1 for CDMA networks. The PDSN can run on the Cisco 7200 VXR and MWAM card for the Catalyst 6500 and 7600 platforms. Any early deployment (ED) release of software should be used in a test network before it is deployed in a production network. |

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(11)YF supports these platforms:
The PDSN R2.1 release delivers the support of the Nortel proprietary Closed RP interface to inter-operate with Nortel PCFs. Other features in this release are SDB marking and A11 session update features for SKT and LGT. This release also contains support of the Sync PPP feature for interworking with iBurst base stations/PCFs from Kyocera. The feature set of PDSN/HomeAgent remaina the same on both 7200VXR and MWAM for Cat6500/7600. Up to five instances of PDSN/HomeAgent images can run each MWAM card, therefore aggregating session capacity and throughput of the box. |

Target Market |
Cisco Systems, Inc. released Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(11)YF as a short-lived ED release for the Cat65xx-MWAM, 76xx-MWAM, and Cisco 7200 platforms. It is targeted for Mobile Wireless customers and partners.
