The ARP-Auto Log Off feature improves control for probing the authorized peers. There is also a more accurate and controlled detection of a peer's activeness. The ARP-Auto Log Off feature allows for the configuration of the frequency a peer is probed (the interval) and the maximum numbers of retries (the count).

Note: The features delivered with this XED release are immediately incorporated into Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(sixth release)T and subsequent Cisco IOS 12.3T releases.
