Description of the Release |
Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.3(2)XB is an early deployment (XED) release optimized for the GGSN project. This release is based upon Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3T, which will be integrated into Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(2)T. This release introduces IOS support for General Packet Radio Service enhancements to support 3G Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS) networks on Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (MWAM) platform. General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) allows mobile users to wirelessly access Internet, email, Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), and other essential services. |
