Maintenance Releases |
Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(4)XI is a short-lived release and does not provide maintenance releases. If needed, subsequent software rebuilds will use the following naming convention: Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(4)XI1, 12.0(4)XI2, and so on. | ||||
Interim Builds |
Short-lived X releases do not provide interim builds.
Interim builds are not recommended and are not fully tested. Customers will only be provided with interim builds when a critical defect renders the maintenance release unusable. |

Recommended Migration |
Features of Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(4)XI will be ported to Cisco IOS 12.0(5)T.
