Target Market |
The SX offering is targeted as a competitively priced Layer 2 switch for small-to-medium businesses and branch office environments that are looking for basic connectivity and do not value the full suite of intelligent Ethernet services, whereas the 2950G is positioned as an enterprise branch office offering (providing for greater security) Quality of Service (QoS), availability, and scalability. The target market of the 1000BaseT offering is similar to that of the 2950G, except that the 2950T, with its copper uplinks, lacks interface flexibility and cannot be deployed where an uplink cable run of more than 100 meters is required. | |||||||||||||
