Description of the Release

Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.1(3)XP is an ED release (XED) optimized for the Cisco 1700 (w PPPoE support) and SOHO70 platforms. This release introduces IOS support for ADSL WIC project with PPPoE feature designed for high-speed internet/intranet access on Cisco 1700 platform. It also introduces the SOHO70 platform (which is a defeatured version of 820 ADSL router). The IOS Software Release 12.1(3)XP is based upon 12.1(3)T. Any early deployment (ED) release of software should be used in a test network before being deployed in a production network. | |||||||||||||
