Description of the Release

Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.1(3)XJ is an ED release (XED) optimized for the Cisco 1700 platforms. This release is based upon the 12.1(3)T maintenance release. This release introduces IOS support for the ADSL WIC project designed for high-speed internet/intranet access on Cisco 1700 platform. Any early deployment (ED) release of software should be used in a test network before being deployed in a production network. | |||||||||||||

The Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(3)XJ will support the following images:
The features delivered with this XED release will be immediately incorporated into Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(1)T and subsequent Cisco IOS 12.2T releases. |

Target Market |
Cisco Systems, Inc. released Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(3)XJ as a short-lived "X" release for the Cisco 1700. It is targeted for general purpose use by Enterprise and Network Service Providers, ISP, SOHO, and SMB. | |||||||||||||
