Description of the Release

Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.2(25)FX is an ED (XED) release for the FCS of the new Catalyst 2960 family. The Catalyst 2960 is an entry level enterprise Ethernet switch and will be transitioning the 2950G, 2950T, and 2970 switches.

Any early deployment (ED) release of software needs to be used in a test network before you deploy it in a production network.
