Description of the Release

Cisco IOS ® Software Release 12.2DD is a specific technology early deployment release (STED) optimized for Cisco 7200 and Cisco 7400 broadband support. This release is based upon Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2T.

In the initial release Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2DD introduces support for the Cisco 7400ASR platform, including (but not limited to): AAA/VRF LNS session limiting and LNS hunting PPPoE over GE 8PRI PA. Any early deployment (ED) release of software should be used in a test network before being deployed in a production network.
