Description of the Release

Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.2(8)YN is an ED release (XED) optimized for the soho7x, soho9x, 1700, 2600, 3600, ICS7700, and 800 platforms. Any early deployment (ED) release of software should be used in a test network before being deployed in a production network.
