Description of the Release

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2SB, which is derived from Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(25)S, provides Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2S functionality, new features, and new hardware support for the Cisco 7200, 7301, 7304, and Cisco 10000 Series Routers.

Cisco IOS Software Releases 12.2(28)SB and 12.2(27)SBC are available on Cisco.com.

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(28)SB, the second customer release of Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2SB, includes support for the Cisco 7200, 7301, 7304, and Cisco 10000 Series Routers, aggregates many new and inherited features from Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(25)S, and earlier instances of Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2S.

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(27)SBC, the first customer release of Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2SB, is specific to the Cisco 7304 Router and includes several new features, including new features in the Parallel eXpress Forwarding (PXF) path.
