Description |
Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.0DA is based on Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0T and provides underlying support for Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) technology supported on the Cisco 6260 DSL, Cisco 6130, and 6100 DSL Access Concentrators that are configured with NI-2 hardware.
Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(5)DA was released at the end of August 1999. Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0DA provides regular maintenance revisions until end of engineering (EOE). Note that Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0DA is a limited life release with regular maintenance and support available until a future mainline Cisco IOS release is available (targeted for the fourth quarter of 1999). At that time, all customers running Cisco Software Release IOS 12.0DA are required to upgrade to the new release for regular maintenance and support. Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(5)DA runs on the NI-2 system card of the Cisco 6260. The NI-2 system card is available as an option on the Cisco 6100 and 6130.
