Early Deployment (ED) Release Summary
Description |
Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.0(1)XB is a one-time release introducing the Cisco 800 series routers (801, 802, 803, and 804) and functionality for modem over Basic Rate Interface (BRI). This ED release bridges the eight-week gap between Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(1)XB and Cisco IOS 12.0(2)T. The Cisco 800 series routers and the modem over BRI functionality will be released with Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(2)T. At this time, Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(1)XB will reach end of engineering (EOE) in December 1998.
The Cisco 800 provides low-end Cisco IOS-based router solutions. It is the natural upgrade for the Cisco 1003, Cisco 1004, and Cisco 700 series routers. For more information, see the following pages: |
