Early Deployment (ED) Release Summary
Description |
Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.0(0.6)WA5 introduced the CH-OC12 module on Cisco 8500 series switches. This release is based on a Cisco IOS Software Release 11.3T to Cisco IOS 12.0 pre-integration branch called Cisco IOS 11.3CI (Cisco internal integration branch). It delivers features such as Layer 1 and Layer 2 Switching, Virtual LAN (VLAN), Fast Ethernet Channel (FEC), and Inter-Switch Link (ISL) over Fast EtherChannel (FEC).
