Description
|
Cisco IOS® Software Release 11.0NA introduced support for the IPeXchange Internet Gateway on the Cisco 1000 series. IPeXchange Internet Gateway connects Novell NetWare users using IPX protocol to the Internet or other TCP/IP-based network services. IPeXchange allows NetWare client workstations to use TCP/IP-based applications such as Telnet, FTP, and Netscape Navigator without requiring a TCP/IP protocol stack on each workstation. Cisco IOS Software Release 11.0(6)NA is the first version in a series of IPeXchange releases and is based on Cisco IOS 11.0(6). The release provided maintenance releases up to Cisco IOS Software Release11.0(14)NA. Functionality of Cisco IOS Software Release 11.0NA were ported to main line Cisco IOS 11.0 at 1.0(15) and later.
