Operating System Support

CiscoWorks2000 VPN/Security Management Solution (VMS) Release 2.0 is available in two packages:

CD One, 4th Edition Patch CD

CD One, 4th Edition requires a Java Plug-in patch. You must install this patch after you have installed CD One. For information about the patch, see the readme documentation included on the patch CD. You can also download the patch from the following URL:

CSPM Server Installation

CSPM 3.0f (for firewall and VPN) and CSPM 2.3.3i (for IDS) cannot reside on the same server. They can coexist in the same network, on different servers.

CSPM 2.3.3i License Disk Serial Number

The serial number on the CSPM 2.3.3i license disk might be misleading because it references Version 2.2. The serial number is correct and appropriate for use with CSPM 2.3.3i.

Cisco IDS Active Update Notifications

Cisco IDS Active Update Notifications provides rapid notifications to the Cisco Intrusion Detection (IDS) customer base. This system immediately alerts subscribers to signature updates, emergency custom string releases, and product releases.
