This document discusses relevant upgrade information for when you upgrade from NetWare v3.11 to any later v3.x version.

This document is not restricted to specific software and hardware versions.
Information
When you upgrade from NetWare v3.11 to any later v3.x version, make sure you also install these general use files:
LIBUP3.EXE DOSUP9.EXE STRTL3.EXE 312PT2.EXE.
If you use the X.25 WAN protocol, you should also install this file:
SAPFX.ZIP
Additionally, if you plan to use PBurst with v3.12, your clients must use VLMs, rather than NETX.
In order to obtain any of the aforementioned files, contact Cisco's LAN²LAN Technical Support.
You might also need to upgrade your LAN²LAN software. For more information on upgrades, call Cisco Systems' Technical Sales department.
