Server Generation
If you generate a server which contains LAN²LAN with X.25 access that runs under NetWare v2.15 or v2.2, you might find that your generation process aborts with a "Segment Overflow" message during the linking process.
This has been specifically noted when using a combination of an SMC (Western Digital) NIC and a LAN²LAN/X.25, but can occur with other types of NICs and if multiple NICs are configured in the server.
The two suggested workarounds are to first use a different NIC card if possible. Novell's NE2000 driver is known to link correctly with LAN²LAN when using X.25 access. Second, move the LAN²LAN to an external router, where the constraints imposed by v2.x file servers do not apply.
