This document discusses the DTK PC motherboard AT bus incompatibility.

Incompatibility
Because some DTK motherboards do not fully comply with the ISA bus standard, LAN²LAN does not operate properly with these boards. DTK acknowledges that the problem exists with PEM-3332D and PEM3334D motherboards.
If you have problems when you boot a DTK system, or if you get persistent I/O check or parity check 2 errors, you need to change to a DTK 386SX or 486SX or to a PC from a different manufacturer.
DTK compatibility tests indicate that LAN²LAN works fine with their 486SX and 386SX motherboards, although we have not confirmed this as yet.
11/93 Note: This situation exists only with WNIC/ISA, Revision D adapters.
