Added Security to meet Regulatory Requirements

The FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliance of the module provides added security to meet regulatory requirements in government departments and regulated industries (such as financial and health-care institutions) that collect, store, transfer, share, and disseminate sensitive but unclassified information.

The module offers eighteen 4-Gbps Fibre Channel ports and four Gigabit Ethernet IP storage services ports and is supported in Cisco MDS 9200 Series Switches and Cisco MDS 9500 Series Directors, continuing to deliver unprecedented investment protection only available with Cisco MDS 9000 Family SANs.
