End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement for
Cisco Aironet Antenna AIR-ANT4121
Cisco Systems® announces the end of life of a Cisco® Aironet® 2.4 GHz antenna, with part number AIR-ANT4121. The last day to order the Cisco Aironet antenna with part number AIR-ANT4121 is November 3, 2003. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until May 7, 2008. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco Aironet antenna.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco Aironet antenna with part number AIR-ANT24120, which offers an efficiently designed fiberglass radome, which minimizes distortion and provides for maximum range and better coverage than the previous antenna (AIR-ANT4121). Table 2 compares the Cisco AIR-ANT4121 with the Cisco AIR-ANT24120.
