Cisco IOS Commands Not Supported on the Catalyst 8500

This appendix lists the Cisco IOS commands that the Catalyst 8500 campus switch router does not support. In general, commands are not supported on this platform because they hamper performance or they do not fit into the architectural requirements of this product.

Note Access lists are supported for routing protocol distribution lists, route-maps, and access lists for control traffic or traffic that is forwarded to the route processor. The Catalyst 8500 does not support access lists for user traffic forwarded by the Ethernet line modules.
