Introduction

This document describes the procedure for upgrading ViewRunner software on a Cisco 6100/6130 Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) with NI-1.

There are no specific prerequisites for this document.

Components Used

This document is not restricted to specific software and hardware versions.

Upgrade Procedure

Use the following procedure to upgrade the ViewRunner System software.

Note: To download software from Cisco's software center, you must be a registered user and you must be logged in.

1. Log on to the Cisco Systems web site .

2. Navigate to Service & Support > Software Center > Access Products and select 6100 Series.

3. Download C6100-2_2_5.exe or the most current version.

   

4. Download the latest version of SCFeatureCapabilityMatrix.csv and move it to the ox:\?\viewrunner x.x.x directory.

   Note: For the upgrade to be successful, you must have the latest version of SCFeatureCapabilityMatrix.csv and it must be in the ox:\?\viewrunner x.x.x directory.

   

5. From the Start menu, run C6100-2_5_5.exe.
