Is there a 32 bit version of CompatiView for Windows NT and Windows 95/98?
I have a Compatible Systems router going over a 28.8K US Robotics dial-up to a Windows NT RAS server. I've got the system partially working but keep getting rejected by the RAS server with no error message to help me troubleshoot.

Q. I have a Compatible Systems router going over a 28.8K US Robotics dial-up to a Windows NT RAS server. I've got the system partially working but keep getting rejected by the RAS server with no error message to help me troubleshoot.
A. The RAS server negotiates CHAP as one of the PPP LPC options. CHAP encrypts the passwords. There are two types of encryption: DES and MD5. The original PPP specification called for MD5, which we support. RAS uses DES. We reject that CHAP option during negotiation. RAS didn't like that and would drop the link. We NAK the CHAP DES request. In that case the RAS requests PAP, which we do support. Enable PAP on the RAS server instead of CHAP.
