End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement for the Cisco 7600 Optical Services Modules, Which Have Been Superseded by the Cisco 7600 Enhanced Optical Services Modules
With the introduction of the Cisco® 7600 enhanced optical services modules (OSMs), Cisco Systems® announces the end of sale for select model numbers within the Cisco 7600 OSM product line. The last day to order the Cisco 7600 OSM products listed in Table 2 is December 15, 2003. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until December 15, 2008. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected products, which are listed in Table 2.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco 7600 enhanced OSMs, which offer higher performance and enhanced QoS features. Additional information about the enhanced OSMs can be found at:

Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating from the Cisco 7600 OSMs to the Cisco 7600 enhanced OSMs.
