End-of-Life Bulletin
On February 25, 2000, the GE-GBIC-SC-A(=) line card will no longer be offered by Cisco Systems; it will be superseded by the GE-SX/LH-SC(=) line card, which has enhanced performance. On February 1, 2001, the GE-SX/LH-SC(=) line card will no longer be offered by Cisco Systems; it will be superseded by the GE-GBIC-SC-B(=) line card, which has Error-Correcting Code (ECC) support and provides packet-per-second (pps) performance enhancement for access control lists/extended access control lists (ACLs/EACLs). The GE-GBIC-SC-B(=) line card requires a minimum Cisco IOS® version of 12.0(8)S or higher or 11.2(19)GS4 or higher. The memory and gigabit interface converter (GBIC) options remain the same. List price for the GE-GBIC-SC-B(=) line card is $29,000 (U.S.).

This product will no longer be orderable after February 25, 2000. All last-time-buy orders by customers must be received on or before this date.
End of Sales for GE-SX/LH-SC(=)
This product will no longer be orderable after February 1, 2001. All last-time-buy orders by customers must be received on or before this date.
End-of-Contract Renewals
Service contracts on these products will not be renewed after October 31, 2004.
End of Support
These products will not be supported by Cisco after December 1, 2005.
