In order to protect customers and help them to identify genuine Cisco® transceivers, Cisco is introducing new security features on the labels attached to products from Transceiver Module Group.
These features are already implemented on the following product IDs:
• WS-G5484
• WS-G5486
• GLC-SX-MM
• GLC-LH-SM
• GLC-T
And those will be deployed between September and December 2010 on:
• X2-10GB-SR
• X2-10GB-LRM
• X2-10GB-LR
• SFP-10G-SR
• SFP-10G-LRM
• SFP-10G-LR
